Steelers' James Conner (shoulder) sidelined with AC sprain
Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner is dealing with an AC joint sprain of his left shoulder, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Since being seen in a sling following Sunday's practice, Conner has missed the last three days of camp with the injury. Coach Mike Tomlin said that it would only be a matter of days before Conner's back on the practice field. When he does return, he should continue to share first team reps as Le'Veon Bell remains unsigned.
As Conner backs up one of the best all-around backs in the league, our models project him for just 22 rushes, 88 yards and 0.8 touchdowns for the 2017 season. Outside of rookie and dynasty leagues, he's not worth a pick in most fantasy drafts.
