Marcus Mariota and Kendall Wright developing strong chemistry in Titans offense
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright has become quarterback Marcus Mariota's 'favorite target,' according to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
Wright had a team-high 60 receiving yards on three receptions in the Titans' third preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday. Wright has totaled six receptions for 84 receiving yards through three preseason games.
The Titans ranked 29th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric last season. Wright ranked 47th out of 54 wide receivers with at least 90 targets with a 0.56 Reception NEP per target last season. We project Wright to finish the season with 70 receptions, 719 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns, as the 46th-ranked fantasy wide receiver.
