Titans' Derrick Henry rapidly improving this offseason
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has made noticeable strides this offseason, Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com said.
Wyatt said he's been impressed with Henry and believes he looks faster and hungrier than he did as a rookie. He won't overtake DeMarco Murray, who remains the Titans' unquestioned workhorse, this year, but Henry's 123 touches last year are probably about what we can expect for him in 2017 as well. That can be enough to be a solid fantasy contribution thanks to Henry's efficiency.
Among the 42 running backs to carry the ball at least 100 times last season, Henry finished 13th in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry. Our models project him for 511 rushing yards and 3.17 touchdowns on 115 carries, adding 16 receptions for 149 yards and 0.55 scores.
