Rams' Tre Mason dealing with 'mild' hamstring pull, questionable for opener
St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason's right hamstring pull is "mild," but coach Jeff Fisher said he is questionable for the team's season opener.
Mason will sit out Thursday's preseason finale, and he is iffy for Week 1, which is in exactly two weeks. With Todd Gurley expected to be eased in, Mason will have a chance to produce in September, though he has a rough opening matchup in the Seahawks.
In 2014, Mason ranked in the bottom 15 among running backs with at least 100 carries with a -0.08 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry. Our projections peg Mason for 638 total yards and two scores.
