Falcons' Devonta Freeman will not hold out
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman has reiterated that he doesn't plan on holding out in his contract year.
Freeman said that he couldn't ever see himself holding out in contract negotiations. He stands to make $1.80 million in 2017, and Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff has said that he does expect to get an extension done with Freeman around training camp.
Freeman ranked fifth in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry among the 42 running backs to attempt 100 rushes in 2016.
