Seahawks sign Speedy Noil as undrafted free agent

The Seattle Seahawks signed Texas A&M wide receiver Speedy Noil.

What It Means:

The smallish Noil turned pro as a junior after amassing a career 1,134 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns on 88 catches (12.9 yards per reception), failing to reach 25 catches in each of his final two seasons. While theoretically explosive with 4.45 speed and a 43.5-inch vertical, Noil’s athleticism didn’t translate to much production in the SEC, and he is also known to have baggage off the field.

The Seahawks came in with the 15th-most opponent-adjusted Offensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2016.
