Packers start second round by taking cornerback Kevin King
The Green Bay Packers selected Washington Huskies cornerback Kevin King with the 33rd overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
One of the best athletes of the secondary prospects, King ran a 4.43 40 and posted a ridiculous 99-percentile SPARQ score. A big and physical back (6'3", 200 lbs), King will immediately help a depleted Packers secondary, which allowed the second-most passing yards in the NFL last season.
King started 36 games in his Huskies' career, posting 6 interceptions and 22 passes defended with 164 tackles (101 solo) in his four seasons.
