Browns select Jabrill Peppers at 25th overall
The Cleveland Browns selected Michigan defensive back/linebacker Jabrill Peppers with the 25th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
No matter which position Peppers falls into on the Browns' defense, he should be a versatile weapon for the team's defense and special teams this season. He will likely play a safety/linebacker hybrid position with the Browns and with the team in need of a safety, Peppers could start Week 1 in the Browns' secondary.
Peppers recorded 21.5 tackles for loss and averaged an impressive 13.1 yards per punt return during his collegiate career. He added his only collegiate interception in 2016 over 12 games.
