C.J. Anderson (knee) may not be ready for Broncos OTA's
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson (knee surgery) may not be fully ready for OTA's, head coach Vance Joseph said.
"I’m not sure," Joseph said. "He’s there every day working, so hopefully." Anderson said he expected to be fully cleared from his torn meniscus by the end of February, so it is at least mildly concerning the Broncos do not know if he will be ready by the end of May. Still, it doesn't seem like Joseph is worried. Anderson should be a full go for training camp at the latest.
Anderson's Rushing Net Expected Points per carry ranked 16th-lowest among the 42 running backs to carry the ball 100 times or more in 2016.
