Dennis Pitta staying with Ravens on restructured deal
Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta has reworked his deal to stay with the team, reports Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
What It Means:
Pitta would have otherwise been cut. Despite leading all tight ends with 86 catches in 2016, Pitta proved to be allergic to the red zone and turns 32 in June. His blocking is also substandard.
Among the 17 tight ends to see 80 or more targets last season, Pitta came in last in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
