Saints add potential Brandin Cooks' replacement in Ted Ginn
The New Orleans Saints agreed to terms with wide receiver Ted Ginn, formerly of the Carolina Panthers.
What It Means:
This only fuels speculation that the Saints will be dealing Brandin Cooks, who Ginn happens to fill in seamlessly for as a deep threat for Drew Brees. He's not quite as dynamic as Cooks, but will make for an intriguing boom-or-bust option on a weekly basis in New Orleans' offense.
Ginn came in 47th in Reception Net Expected Points per target among the 68 wide receivers to see 75 targets or more in 2016.
