Chandler Jones finalizing five-year agreement with Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals and franchise-tagged linebacker Chandler Jones are finalizing a five-year contract, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Jones was set to earn $14.64 million with the franchise tag, so that seems like an accurate estimate of what his annual salary will be. He was second on the Cardinals with 11 sacks last season.
The Cardinals finished last season ranked ninth in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
