Texans fear Eagles will pluck away A.J. Bouye
The Houston Texans are "concerned" about losing free agent defensive back A.J. Bouye to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.
Per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Eagles haven't made an offer, but it sounds like they will make a strong push after word came out Tuesday that Bouye was expected to stay within the AFC South. Considering all the interest he's receiving, Bouye should be able to reel in at least $13 million per year.
Bouye deflected a career-high 16 passes last season and emerged as one of the league's best corners, helping the Texans finish sixth in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play. Philadelphia, meanwhile, was second.
