Bears favorites to sign Stephon Gilmore
The Chicago Bears are in pursuit of free agent defensive back Stephon Gilmore, according to "growing talk" heard by Jason Cole of Bleacher Report.
What It Means:
The Bears appear to be the frontrunners for both Gilmore and free agent quarterback Mike Glennon. Gilmore would start across from Tracy Porter with Bryce Callahan moving to the slot.
The Bears finished 19th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play last season.
