Dontari Poe expected to leave Chiefs, seek $10 million per year
Kansas City Chiefs impending free agent defensive tackle Dontari Poe is reportedly seeking $10 million per year.
Despite the Chiefs' desire to bring Poe back, he's likely going to sign elsewhere due to financial incentive. According to Giants beat writer Jordan Raanan, fellow free agent defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins is considered a superior pass-rush threat around the league.
The Chiefs finished 10th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play last season with Poe as the anchor.
