Alshon Jeffery had positive meeting with Bears
Chicago Bears impending free agent wide receiver Alshon Jeffery's agent had a "positive meeting" with the team.
What It Means:
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says both sides are "more than open" to a reunion. It's going to be hard to keep Jeffery from hitting the market as the top wideout available, but Chicago has the cap space to get a deal done. Jeffery is expected to command $15 million annually.
Jeffery ranked 19th in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target among the 60 receivers to see at least 80 targets last season.
