Jaguars cut bait on Davon House

The Jacksonville Jaguars released cornerback Davon House.

What It Means:

Inked to a four-year, $24.5 million deal in 2015, House got torched for most of his first year in Jacksonville before lasting just four games as a 2016 starter. House was benched for Prince Amukamara -- who is now a free agent, and one who the Jags want back. It would not be surprising if House resurfaced with the Green Bay Packers, where his career began. The Packers need cornerback help.

The Jaguars finished the year ranked 13th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play this season.
