Cowboys' Tony Romo not considering retirement

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has no plans to retire despite drawing "strong interest" as a television analyst, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

What It Means:

Networks have reached out to Romo about working as a color analyst but he's not ready to hang up his cleats just yet. Romo obviously believes that he'll be able to continue to play deep into his 30's and still be effective. The four-time Pro Bowler is unlikely to return to Dallas after losing his starting job to Rookie of the Year Dak Prescott.

The question remains how good Romo will be in what will be his age-37 campaign. In 2015, the veteran quarterback tossed -0.04 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back on 127 drop backs, but generated 0.16 Passing NEP per drop back on 684 such plays in 2014.
