Carson Palmer denies putting Arizona house up for sale

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer denied he has put his home up for sale and moved his family out of Arizona.

What It Means:

"No, my house in Arizona is not on the market," Palmer said in a statement. "And every year we have taken off for offseason family adventures, so there's nothing to read into there, either." A Cardinals beat writer mistakenly reported Tuesday night that Palmer put his house up for sale with the intention of moving. He's 37-years-old and contemplating retirement, but Palmer remains under contract with the team for the next two seasons.

Palmer looked sluggish at times in 2016 but finished with 26 touchdown passes and 4,233 passing yards. His 0.11 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back ranked 21st out of the 39 quarterbacks to drop back at least 100 times in 2016.
