Steelers in wait-and-see mode with Martavis Bryant
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in wait-and-see mode with suspended wide receiver Martavis Bryant, head coach Mike Tomlin said.
Bryant applied for reinstatement earlier this month, and Tomlin said he is "hopeful" the receiver will be allowed back in the league. As we have learned, being eligible for reinstatement does not guarantee it will happen, but Bryant seems to have taken the necessary steps during his ban. Tomlin's hope could end up being well-founded.
Bryant turned in a decent 2015 season, when he was last on the field, and his 0.66 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 58th among the 87 wideouts with at least 50 targets on the year.
