Melvin Gordon ruled out for San Diego on Sunday
San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee, hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gordon looked like he was going to make his return this week, but instead his season will be over. With Kenneth Farrow also out, Ronnie Hillman and Andrew Williams will share the running back workload for the Chargers this week.
Gordon finishes the season with 997 yards and 10 touchdowns on 254 carries as well as 419 yards and 2 touchdowns on 41 receptions. His -0.02 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry currently rank 36th among the 68 running backs with at least 50 carries on the season.
