Jordan Reed

Washington not planning on having Jordan Reed (shoulder) Saturday

Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden didn't sound "optimistic" about tight end Jordan Reed's (shoulder) availability for Week 16 against the Chicago Bears, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

What It Means:

Reed hasn't practiced since getting ejected from Monday night's loss to the Carolina Panthers. He appeared to be in significant pain throughout that contest, and Washington can probably afford to give him the week off against the Bears. Even if Reed plays, owners should be looking elsewhere for the fantasy finals.

numberFire's models still have Reed active for now, and project him to catch 6 passes for 61 yards and 0.38 touchdowns in Week 16.
