Bears sign Bralon Addison to active roster to take Eddie Royal's (toe, IR) spot
Chicago Bears signed wide receiver Bralon Addison off their practice squad.
The undrafted rookie spent the offseason with the Denver Broncos but was among the team's final cuts at the end of training camp. He's been on the Bears' practice squad for the past couple weeks. Eddie Royal (toe) was placed on injured reserve in the corresponding roster move.
Among the 61 receivers with between 25 and 75 targets this season, Royal's 0.56 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranks 40th.
