Alshon Jeffery, Matt Barkley building rapport after Bears' practice
Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and quarterback Matt Barkley have been working on developing their chemistry after practice, Barkley said.
Jeffery is returning from a PED suspension this week, and Barkley claims he had never even thrown a pass to the receiver in practice before Wednesday. "We stayed after practice, got some reps, just to make sure I’m seeing him getting in on breaks and he understands what I’m thinking on some certain routes," Barkley said. Jeffery is reportedly in fantastic shape following the time off and should lead the Bears in targets over the last three weeks of the season.
numberFire's models rank Jeffery as the ninth-best fantasy receiver for Week 15, and project him to record five catches for 76 yards and 0.46 touchdowns in a matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
