Torrey Smith carted off field with head injury in 49ers' Week 14
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Torrey Smith was carted off the field with a potentially severe head injury in the Week 14 game against the New York Jets.
What It Means:
After falling hard on a target from quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Smith appeared to be knocked unconscious and was motionless for several moments. He eventually hopped on a cart and went into the locker room. Smith was quickly diagnosed with a concussion. It would be a surprise if he played next week.
