Jets Darrelle Revis reportedly "doesn't want to play anymore"
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis "doesn't want to play anymore", a confidant reportedly told the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta.
The canfidant reportedly said that "If he had his way, he'd be done right now. He doesn't want to play anymore. He's made a lot of money." Revis has been struggling this season, and earlier in November when asked about his declining play, he replied that it was "Because I'm old." It's starting to look like there's a good chance that Week 17 marks the last time we will see Darrelle Revis on an NFL field.
Once the league's premier shutdown corner, Revis is now the marquee player in a Jets' secondary that ranks only 25th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play.
