Browns' Robert Griffin III (shoulder) cleared for full contact
Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III (shoulder) has been cleared to return to full contact, per Ed Werder of ESPN.
Griffin is eligible to return from the injured reserve this week, and with Cody Kessler (concussion) also returning to practice, the Browns' starting quarterback job is very much up in the air for the remainder of the season, with veteran Josh McCown also in the conversation.
Griffin's -0.33 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback rank dead-last among the 47 quarterbacks with at least 25 dropbacks on the season.
