Marcus Peters (hip) misses another practice for Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters (hip) missed his third straight practice Friday.
Peters hasn't been able to practice all week due to a hip pointer. The Chiefs may opt to push him through it, but Peters has been getting beat lately, so sitting for a game might not be a bad idea. Kansas City faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
The Chiefs' defense ranks 21st in Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play this season. Peters has recorded 15 pass deflections and five interceptions on the year, while forcing one fumble and recovering three.
