New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (lung) remained sidelined at practice Friday.

It's been "at least eight years" since a player has missed every Patriots' practice during the week and played on Sunday, per Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. Gronkowski won't be available this week as New England travels to San Francisco for a matchup with the 49ers.
