Brandon Boykin getting reps on first-team for Steelers
Cornerback Brandon Boykin is getting first-team reps with the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, as Cortez Allen and William Gay missed time with injury yesterday.
Boykin was brought to Pittsburgh from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional fifth-round draft pick.
Last season, the Steelers ranked 26th in the league in pass defense, according to our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points metric. With the loss of Troy Polamalu, this will be a story to watch, as it's a weak spot for the Steelers.
