Bryce Treggs adds new deep threat to Eagles' offense
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Bryce Treggs caught 2-of-4 targets for 69 yards Week 9 against the New York Giants.
With Josh Huff cut, Treggs was active for the first time in his NFL career. He immediately brought a desperately needed deep threat to the offense, getting open down the left sideline for a 58-yard gain in the second quarter. He could start to see more work with Nelson Agholor and Dorial Green-Beckham struggling.
Treggs earned 4.51 Net Expected Points on four targets in Week 9, per numberFire Live. This was the third-highest total among Eagles receivers.
