Derek Wolfe suffers elbow fracture in Broncos' loss
Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe suffered a hairline fracture in his elbow Sunday night against the Oakland Raiders.
Wolfe told ESPN's Josina Anderson he would be "alright," but this injury is sure to cost him at least a couple games. Losing Wolfe is a big blow for a defense which has struggled to stop the run all season. Billy Winn and second-round rookie Adam Gotsis should see a bump in snaps with Wolfe out.
The Broncos' defense allowed the Raiders to earn 1.89 Net Expected Points (NEP) on 31 passing plays in Week 9, but limited them to -2.56 NEP on 12 rushing plays, per numberFire Live.
