Derek Wolfe week-to-week with concussion
Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe was carted off the field during Thursday's practice after suffering a concussion. His status is week-to-week.
What It Means:
Wolfe is also suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. He is currently pegged as the starting left defensive end on the Broncos defense.
The Broncos ranked in the top-10 in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points metric last season. Wolfe led the Broncos defensive lineman with 777 snaps last season so this could be an impactful loss. We project him to finish the year with 39 tackles and 4.0 sacks.
