Browns' Josh McCown (collarbone) in right direction to play Week 8
Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown (collarbone) said he's "moving in the right direction" to play Week 8 against the New York Jets.
McCown has been itching to play for the past couple weeks, and he may finally get the chance with rookie Cody Kessler in the concussion protocol and undrafted Kevin Hogan looking legitimately overwhelmed as a passer in his relief duty last week. McCown would give the offense a much better chance at success against the Jets.
We don't know which of Kessler or McCown will start in Week 8. Our models reflect them splitting work right now, each coming in at 26th and 27th among fantasy quarterbacks, respectively.
