Texans' secondary loses Kevin Johnson (foot) and K.J. Dillon (knee) Sunday night

Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson suffered a broken foot and rookie safety K.J. Dillon suffered an ACL tear Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts.

What It Means:

The Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reports Johnson broke the same foot he suffered a Jones fracture in as a rookie. He played through that injury last season, but he was sidelined the entire offseason after undergoing surgery. This injury could be a season-ender. A fifth-round pick in April, Dillon had only seen 19 snaps on defense before going down. He is certainly out for the season.

The Texans' secondary had a Pyrrhic victory here, losing two of their young players, but limiting the Colts to -0.19 Net Expected Points on 32 passing attempts.
