Browns' Josh McCown returns to limited practice Wednesday
Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown (collarbone) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
McCown hasn't seen the practice field since breaking his collarbone in Week 2. He was originally given a 2-4 week timeline and reports from Browns' practice Wednesday say he looked good throwing the ball. For now, Cody Kessler (ribs) is still the favorite to be named the Week 6 starter.
The Browns rank 23rd overall in Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play this season. McCown has a 0.30 Passing NEP compared to Kessler's 0.14.
