Lions' Haloti Ngata (shoulder) sidelined for two-to-three weeks
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Haloti Ngata will miss 2-3 weeks with a shoulder injury, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Ngata went down midway through last week's win over the Philadelphia Eagles. At 32, Ngata's play has slipped since he arrived in Detroit, but he's still a big body in the middle of a run defense that has yet to allow a rushing touchdown to a running back.
Detroit is getting gashed defensively, putting up 0.22 schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play, which ranks dead last in the NFL.
