Giants' Rashad Jennings (thumb) will not play Sunday night

New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings (thumb, questionable) will not play Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.

What It Means:

ESPN's Jordan Raanan reported Saturday Jennings was unlikely to play. Dealing with a thumb injury, Jennings is compromised both as a receiver and pass protector. Orleans Darkwa will get the start, but Bobby Rainey should have a role on passing downs.

Jennings' -0.08 Rushing Net Expected Points per carry is 29th among the 41 running backs with at least 25 attempts through Week 4.
