49ers without Vance McDonald Thursday night
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vance McDonald (hip) is unlikely to play in Thursday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Garrett Celek will start and serve as a low-end TE2 for fantasy purposes. Expect McDonald back in Week 6. San Francisco will also be without defensive end DeForest Buckner (foot), cornerback Jimmie Ward (quad) and linebacker Navorro Bowman (Achilles').
Celek is expected to catch 4 passes for 38 yards and 0.22 touchdowns against the Cardinals Thursday night. Those are based off numberFire's combined projections for both McDonald and Celek.
