Bill O'Brien taking control of Texans' offense
Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien will take over offensive play-calling duties Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans.
O'Brien has experience calling plays after doing so in his first year as head coach back in 2014. He relinquished those duties to offensive coordinator George Godsey last year, but will now take back control of mission command. The Texans currently rank dead-last in offensive DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, so a Week 4 date with the Titans presents a good opportunity to get things figured out.
The Texans' offense ranks 31st in the league, according to numberFire's NFL Team Power Rankings.
