Rashad Jennings (thumb) unlikely to play Monday night for Giants
New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings (thumb) is unlikely to play Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings, reports ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Jennings is still unable to catch the football or pass protect, so his contributions to the passing game are nil and he'll take another week off to let his thumb heal. Orleans Darkwa will likely start against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night and Bobby Rainey will contribute in the passing-game. The guaranteed volume makes Darkwa a decent flex option this week, despite the difficult matchup.
Our models expect Darkwa to rush 10 times for 51 yards and 0.15 touchdowns in Jennings' absence Monday night, adding 3 catches for 26 yards and 0.10 touchdowns through the air.
