Seahawks sign C.J. Spiller
The Seattle Seahawks signed running back C.J. Spiller.
What It Means:
Spiller visited with the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers before signing. He was a healthy scratch for the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, and spent the last two weeks out of football. Spiller hasn't been productive since 2013, but should have a Week 4 role behind Christine Michael.
Spiller led the NFL in Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt back in 2012, the last year he played a full 16-game season.
