Eagles' Zach Ertz (ribs) still 'in a lot of pain'
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (ribs) said he is still "in a lot of pain."
Ertz pointed at the location of the injury as the main cause of the lingering pain, explaining, "if it was a lower rib where the pain is now, I'd easily be able to play last week." It doesn't sound too good for Ertz' Week 3 status and head coach Doug Pederson has said the tight end will be a game-time decision. Trey Burton could be headed for another big role against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.
If available, we project Ertz to catch 2-of-3 targets for 22 yards and 0.15 touchdowns against the Steelers. Burton accrued 6.77 Reception Net Expected Points on his seven targets in Week 2.
