Saints release 2015 third-round pick Garrett Grayson
The New Orleans Saints have waived third-string quarterback Garrett Grayson.
What It Means:
Grayson failed to beat out Luke McCown for the top backup spot behind Drew Brees for the second-straight year, and it looks like the Saints will roll with only two quarterbacks.
Grayson has never taken a regular season snap in the NFL, and while McCown only saw 40 drop backs last season, he managed a very efficient 0.38 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback.
