Jets open to trading Geno Smith
The New York Jets would listen to trade offers on quarterback Geno Smith, ESPN reporter Rich Cimini believes.
Smith is entering the final year of his contract and seems destined to leave New York even if he stays through this season. With the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys both losing starters to injuries this offseason, Smith could garner some interest. The Jets have four quarterbacks worth keeping, but it would be ridiculous to roster more than three.
Smith posted a 0.01 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back in 2014, his last season as a starter.
