Steelers hide Ladarius Green away on reserve/PUP

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green (ankle, headaches) was placed on the reserve/PUP list.

What It Means:

There's still no official information regarding the cause of Green's ailments, but this was the expectation after a summer filled with reports of headaches and an ankle issue. The fifth-year tight end and the Steelers both claim it's the ankle, while his agent stated earlier in August that the ankle was fine. The headache concerns remain a thing and haven't been completely refuted. Green isn't worth stashing in redraft leagues, and Jesse James is worth a late-round flier as the starting tight end in Pittsburgh.

Among tight ends to see at least 40 targets in 2015, Green ranked 17th in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target. Our models currently expect him to return after the Steelers' bye in Week 8, projecting Green to record 33 catches, 383 yards and 2.70 touchdowns this season.
