Seahawks call it quits on Brandon Browner
The Seattle Seahawks released defensive back Brandon Browner.
Seattle intended on using Browner in a hybrid role, playing both safety and corner. However, this may be the end of the road for the oft-victimized 32-year-old after being released by the Seahawks, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots over the past two offseasons.
Browner was the most penalized player in the league for New Orleans last season. He had one interception on the year while recording 63 tackles and 10 pass deflections.
