Dolphins' Xavien Howard (knee) activated off of PUP list
Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) has been activated off of the active/PUP list.
What It Means:
The Dolphins' second-round pick, Howard had surgery on his knee after sustaining an injury on the final day of minicamp. He will be competing with second year corner Tony Lippett for a starting role this season.
The Dolphins secondary is a very shaky unit, and Miami ranked 31st in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play in 2015.
