Packers activate Jordy Nelson from the PUP list
The Green Bay Packers activated wide receiver Jordy Nelson (knee) off the PUP list.
Tendinitis in his knee kept Nelson out of practice for a little more than two weeks. After passing his physical, he was cleared to practice, but the Packers will likely be cautious with him. Nelson's return is great news for his quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the entire Packers offense. He remains on schedule to be ready for Week 1.
Our projections currently have Nelson ranked fifth going into this season, but his age (31 years-old) and injury history make him a risky pick in the first couple of rounds of fantasy drafts. Assuming his health allows it, we forecast 1,372 yards and 6.76 touchdowns on 98 catches in 2016.
