Bengals' Brandon LaFell has torn ligament in hand
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Brandon LaFell has torn a ligament in his hand, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
While it is not expected to be a season-ending injury, LaFell may need surgery to repair the issue. He was listed as a starter on the Bengals' depth chart, and this creates a big opening for rookie Tyler Boyd.
Before the injury, we had LaFell as our 59th-ranked fantasy receiver, projecting him for 53.39 receptions, 663.19 yards and 3.32 touchdowns. You can obviously expect that to fall with him missing time, and if he misses any extended time, he will not be worth a pick in fantasy football drafts this year.
